This nearly shot-by-shot remake of Alfred Hitchcock's
1960 horror flick stars Vincent Vaughn, Anne Heche, Julianne Moore, Viggo Mortensen and
William H. Macy.
SEX/NUDITY 5 - A post-coital scene shows a man and woman in bed; we see his
bare buttocks and her in a bra. A couple is heard but not seen having sex. Movements and
sounds suggest that a man is masturbating while spying on a woman who's undressing
(we briefly see her breasts from the side). A naked woman is seen showering and the camera
lingers on a shot of her bare buttocks. We briefly see pictures of topless women in a
magazine.
VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - Two people are stabbed many times and killed -- we see
lots of blood during one murder, and some during the other. One of the murder victims
falls down a staircase. A man is hit with a golf club. During a scuffle, a man threatens a
woman with a knife, a woman kicks a man in the head, and a man hits another on the head.
We see a corpse with a spider crawling on it.
