Framed for the murder of her husband, a woman (Ashley Judd) survives prison with two burning desires sustaining her: finding her son and solving the mystery that destroyed her once-happy life. Standing between her and her quest is her parole officer (Tommy Lee Jones). Also with Bruce Greenwood, Annabeth Gish, Roma Maffia and Davenia McFadden.

SEX/NUDITY 5 - A couple has sex with the woman on top; we see thrusting, her bare buttocks and breasts. Some kissing and sexual innuendo.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A man is shot twice in the chest with blood seen on his chest and blood smeared on glass behind him. A man shoots many times at a couple hitting the man in the shoulder and we see some blood. A woman threatens a man with a gun and then shoots at him. There is blood on a woman's hands, clothes, a door and the deck of a boat. There is a lot of blood on a table and a bloody knife (seen twice). A woman hits a man in the head with a gun leaving a bloody wound and a man slams a woman's head into a concrete pillar. A couple fights over a gun rolling around on the floor, hitting and kicking. A man punches another man in his bullet wound a few times. A woman wakes up in a coffin with a corpse and she shoots the lid off the coffin. Many scenes of reckless driving including a car being hit and destroyed, a phone booth (with someone inside) being hit and destroyed, a car crashing and flipping with people inside (they are not injured), a car being bumped into water (with no one inside), a car going underwater with a couple inside and a car bumping other cars back and forth. A couple grapples in water. There are a few chases, falls and jumps and a man nearly slips from a roof. People shatter glass in a couple of scenes, and a man shatters a car windshield with his arm. A man rips a phone out of a wall.
