MPAA Rating: R

Tilda Swinton stars as a suburban mom who finds the body of her seventeen-year-old son's gay lover outside her Lake Tahoe home. Assuming her son murdered his lover, her protective instincts take over and she hides the body in the lake. But she's soon being blackmailed. Then inexplicably, one of the blackmailers (Goran Visnjic) softens and begins to help her. But can she trust him? And can she keep taking care of her household and kids while maintaining her secret? Also with Jonathan Tucker, Raymond J. Barry and Josh Lucas. [1:39]

SEX/NUDITY 6 - In a gay bar, called "The Deep End," a server is bare-chested. A thirty-year-old man calls a seventeen-year-old young man "lover." A man puts his hands around a young man's shoulders and nearly kisses him, and it is implied the man wants to have sex. There are some sexual references on personalized license plates and bumper stickers. A woman strips to her underpants, bra and camisole to dive into water. A woman watches a video of a man and her teen son having sex; we see the man on top and the young man face down and we see their hips thrusting and the young man's bare buttocks a few times. There's sexual innuendo involving homosexual relationships and it is implied that a son believes his mother is having an adulterous affair.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A man strangles another man with his arm around his throat and his hand covering his mouth as the man struggles and dies; there is blood on the strangler's hand. A woman finds a corpse with a rope around his neck and an anchor end sticking out of his chest; there's also a stripe of blood at his temple. She pulls the anchor out of the corpse with a squelching sound and there is some blood on the corpse's torso. A man sticks another man in the arm with a metal object. A man and a young man fall against a wall while fighting and then one backhands the other; they fall to the floor and they grapple, one pushes against the other's face and one holds his face in pain, while one hits the other's head with a board. A man falls over suffering from a heart attack but is revived by energetic CPR and we later see him placed in an ambulance. We see a crashed car and a woman struggles to pull a man out as he groans; the man has blood on his neck and hairline and begins coughing and then we see blood on his teeth. A woman throws a corpse overboard into a lake, and we see the corpse floating just below the surface. We see a corpse underwater and it appears to be staring at a woman as she searches his pockets. A man grabs a woman's arm roughly and pushes her, a man slaps a woman in the face two different times and she falls down during the latter time and we see blood on her lip. A man pokes another man in the forehead with his fingers, which starts a fight with punches, choke-holds, and grappling. We twice see the aftermath of a car accident with a wrecked car and a young man sitting in a blanket in an ambulance, we hear a creak as a man falls from a pier into water, we see and hear about a newspaper article about the discovery of a man's corpse, a woman is nearly hit by cars as she walks into traffic, and a woman describes a murder (but she's making up how it happened). A young man has a bruise on his neck and eye.
