A veteran late night talk show host (Emma Thompson) is threatened with losing her show until she hires a young woman (Mindy Kaling) who tries to turn around her lagging ratings before it’s too late. Late Night SEX/NUDITY 4

 – A man and a woman kiss on the street and the woman pushes away saying that it’s not a good idea. A man and a woman kiss.
 A man caresses a woman’s arm and there is an implication that they had a sexual relationship (she is married to another man). A man asks a woman if she wants to leave a party and she agrees (sex is implied). A woman goes to a man’s apartment and when she realizes that he is with another woman (sex is implied), she leaves embarrassed.
 A husband confronts his wife about her infidelity and they hug. We hear that a woman had an affair with a younger man, who is a member of her staff. A woman tells her writing staff that they must live their show and that even when they masturbate they should be thinking of the show. A man asks a woman about herself, including who she is sleeping with. A man talks about someone sleeping with him and another man tells him it’s too early to be so sexually charged. A man tells jokes in a stand-up routine about sex and how many different types of sex there are. A woman tells a man to hire a woman for a writing job and he asks, “Would a gay guy work?” A woman tells a sexually suggestive joke (we hear the same joke a couple of times). A man tells a joke about his girlfriend complaining that all the women on a TV show are nude.
 A woman wears a low-cut T-shirt that reveals cleavage. A woman wears a tight-fitting gown that reveals her bare back. A woman wears a low-cut nightgown that reveals cleavage. A woman wears a short skirt that shows her legs to the upper thighs, with net stockings. A woman wears a low-cut top that reveals cleavage. Women at a party are shown wearing low-cut tops and dresses that reveal cleavage. A woman wears a short dress that reveals cleavage and bare legs to the mid-thighs. A toy lion is posed with its front paws on the hips/back of a rhinoceros as if in a sexual position.

Late Night VIOLENCE/GORE 3

 - A woman yells at another woman and accuses her of mocking her on-air, and then storms off the stage. Several men panic and run to a meeting room, and one man stumbles and falls on the floor (there are no injuries). A woman is hit in the face with a garbage bag on a city street (no injuries are seen).
 A woman yells at her staff in many scenes and addresses them by numbers rather than their names. A man yells at a woman after she fires him and says, "You hate women," and calls her a "pseudo-feminist." A man asks his boss for a raise and she fires him after she accuses him of making the most sexist argument. A wife tells her husband over the phone, "Don't die before I get back." A girl tells a woman that her dress makes her look like she works in HR at a funeral home. A man says that a woman is a "diversity hire," and she overhears him and becomes upset. We hear that a woman's father died of lung cancer. A man remarks about a woman losing her first Emmy to John Oliver. A man tells a woman at a party, "You haven't killed anybody yet." Two women argue. A man and woman argue in several scenes. A woman describes her work environment as being toxic. A girl says that a corpse was found in a neighborhood where a woman is looking for an apartment. A woman says, "God, I hate Brooklyn." A woman says, "I'm so happy, I feel sick."
 We see photos of a woman with her face near a dog's tail and she remarks about it smelling bad; another photo shows the woman pretending to have fainted from the smell.
